For all those who have been called to care, managing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of another person can be a life-changing experience that inspires passion, joy, and personal growth. Some approaches to sharing your inspiration may include:
These are just some suggestions – there is no right or wrong answer to how caregiving has inspired you. We invite you to share your story with us in 300 words or more.
Whether you are a professional caregiver or caring for a loved one at home, caregiving may have changed your life in ways both large and small.
Please submit a 300-word (or more) typed entry. You must include your name, mailing address, and 10-digit phone number. One entry per person. Contest begins November 1, 2023, and ends January 31, 2024. Entries must be submitted online with confirmed receipt by January 31, 2024. At least one independent party will judge the entries. Previous Winners and Shield HealthCare (Shield) employees are ineligible. Shield may publish and use submitted content for publication at no cost. Shield will notify contest Winners by February, 2024. Other restrictions apply.
