For the 14th straight year, Shield HealthCare employees joyfully paid a Santa and staff visit to the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Adult Development Center in Chatsworth, CA.  This year’s visit included a cozy fleece blanket for each of the residents, cookies for all of the dedicated caretakers, and lots of laughter and excitement!

When Shield HealthCare employees Tim F., Mary C. and their families arrived, the residents were waiting with excitement in cozy living rooms. Dressed as Santa and his elves, they went from house to house, starting with the Wendt house, then visiting Westlake, Longo, Olton, Newport, Hatcher and Factor home. In each house, Santa and staff chatted with each of the residents, took plenty of pictures and helped them open their gifts.

Once again, the team at Shield HealthCare is thankful for this opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with our friends at United Cerebral Palsy.  We look forward to another visit in 2014!
