Your urological health is one of the many things that you should keep track of when thinking about how to keep your whole body healthy. Staying hydrated, keeping your doctor updated on any health concerns you may have and following healthy practices when it comes to eliminating urine are all best practices for keeping your urinary tract healthy. Your urinary tract consists of your kidneys, your ureters (the tubes connecting your kidneys to your bladder), your bladder and your urethra (the tube that connects your bladder to the outside of your body). Educating yourself about these organs and connectors is another great way to keep yourself healthy and informed.

If you have a catheter, or your doctor has told you that having a catheter may be your best option to handle the elimination of urine, you can find plenty of information in our catheter section. There are many reasons someone may need a catheter, including incontinence, spinal cord injury, prostate problems or surgery.

You can find information about keeping your urinary tract system healthy here:

You can also find more information about at the National Foundation for Continence, or check our our page of urological links for a list of resources.
