We spend the majority of our time at home, and it is important that our environment is conducive to supporting our needs. When you’re at home with a spinal cord injury, that environment because important not just in terms of comfort, but also safety.

It may seem like the home should be the easiest place to be, but most houses take a lot of adapting to become a home. And then there’s the activities that we participate in in our homes – cooking, bathing, resting, intimate times and more. And it’s always a good idea to keep your home stocked with emergency supplies.

In the following articles, our Spinal Cord Injury Lifestyle Specialist, Aaron Baker, educates us how he sets himself up to be independent and successful each day!

Below you’ll find Aaron’s articles for comfortable and safe living at home with a spinal cord injury:

When Aaron’s not at home, you can usually find him working and working out at his business, CORE – The Center for Restorative Exercise.
