Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children took home the top performing facility honors among children’s hospitals at the 2018 NRC Health Symposium.
For its annual excellence awards, health research company NRC Health uses its database of hospital clients to award organizations based on high ratings in overall satisfaction by patients and their families. The awards are based on the previous four quarters. It’s the fourth year in a row that Scottish Rite has received the award.
Scottish Rite has 100 licensed beds and recorded nearly 40,000 outpatient visits and more than 2,600 surgeries during fiscal 2017.
“Receiving this most prestigious award for four years in a row offers the hospital an opportunity to be recognized as the top leader in patient satisfaction, which is at the forefront of our mission,” said Kerry Wilder, director of quality and performance improvement for Scottish Rite Hospital, in a statement.
