Aaron Baker has been living with a spinal cord injury for 17 years and using a wheelchair in Los Angeles. In this first video in a series about getting around in a wheelchair in different metropolitan areas, Aaron explores the public transportation scene in and around Los Angeles.

In this video, Aaron starts at LAX, before boarding the FlyAway bus bound for Hollywood. Aaron then rolls the Walk of Fame and grabs an In-N-Out burger for lunch. Next up, he grabs the Number 2 bus to Vermont and Sunset so he can take the Griffith Observatory shuttle up the hill to the spectacular views. Then it’s back on the shuttle to take the Red Line subway into downtown for a quick look around. Up next is the Expo Line out to Santa Monica just in time to watch a classic sunset over the ocean.

This video is all about using a wheelchair in Los Angeles, but we’ll be filming more videos soon! Comment to tell us which city you’d like to see Aaron explore next.
